The blindly selected German restaurant did not order roast pork elbows, but the sauerkraut and mashed potatoes in the sausage tasted similar to those eaten in Germany. The dishes were good. The two women ordered it was indeed a bit impulsive. After eating, they bought two alkaline breads in the restaurant to take home ​

restaurant alte schule, because there is a group buying set meal online that is much cheaper than ordering individually, so we ordered a platter of various small cakes.

This very busy restaurant has a huge terrace with great views to the paddocks. Inside is very tastefully decorated, excellent fixed menus &amp; a good choice of other dishes plus a substantial wine/drinks list, all of which comes at a price. We have been dining here a few times &amp; the only reason why we do not give 5 stars is the unfriendly treatment when a small group of us wanted an afternoon aperitivo on the terrace - we were declined. Undeterred once two of us tried again a few months later &amp; were rebuffed once again. Seems they couldn&#39;t be bothered giving us an outdoor table @ 17.00 hrs as all laid out for dinner &amp; obviously too much trouble to serve. The snobby attitude was also totally uncalled for. The place is highly recommended but we have since chosen not to dine here again but to take our guests &amp; business to the plenty of other venues in the vicinity.
